Update the Google Play Store
Dark mode on the Google play store is a new feature and it’s available in all regions. But, to make the play store dark mode available on the play store app on your Android app you must update your play store to the latest or new release.
- Launch the “Google play store app”.
- Click on the more option to the top right.
- Click on “Settings”.
- Scroll down and click on the “Play store version”.
- Click “OK” on “A new version of Google play store will be downloaded and installed.

The new Google play store version with the dark mode feature will be downloaded and installed on your phone. However, if your phone is set to automatically update apps when updates are available this might not be necessary.
How to Enable Google Play Store Dark Mode

Note: The new Google Play store app dark mode isn’t available for Android 9 and older versions of Android OS. The feature is officially for Android 10 and above.
