To sign in to the NBC with a TV provider’s password and username on a Smart TV or other streaming devices, you will be prompted to provide a unique activation code called the NBC activation code to link both the NBC app and the TV provider’s account together on nbc.com/activate.
- Launch the NBC or NBCU family app on your smart TV.
- Select “Login” with a TV provider.
- Take note of the activation code on your screen. This is somewhat like alphanumeric code.
- Go to www.nbc.com/activate on a web browser either on your phone or computer.
- Enter the NBC activation code on your TV screen and select “Continue.”
- Select your TV provider’s network and sign in to your account.
- Done.
Once you have been granted access to your TV provider’s account with the NBC activation code, the NBC code and nbc.com/activate screen on your TV will refresh automatically and you will be granted access to the NBC or NBC family content on your local TV.
