This article is a guide on how to record on Youtube TV. Youtube TV is arguably the most popular streaming device with an estimate of about 4 million subscribers. This is not surprising as Youtube TV has many features that set it apart from other streaming devices.
One of the amazingly free features is the unlimited digital video recorder(known as DVR). This feature allows you to record on Youtube TV.
You can record any program you want, and it could be movies, live events, sports shows, documentaries, lifestyle, and fashion.
You can use any device ranging from your computer to your smartphone to record on Youtube TV, and you do not have to worry about storage space on your computer or phone as the recording will be on your DVR and not your device.
How it Works
Youtube TV named its digital video recording platform (DVR) Library, so on the Youtube TV interface, you will not find anything called DVR. You will only see Library, but it performs the same function as the DVR.
The first step to recording a program on Youtube TV is adding it to your Library by using the Plus sign icon that shows when you view your Library. Then the DVR feature will automatically record it when it airs.
If it is a TV show, it records automatically every time a new episode airs. If it is a live show, you can access the show in your Library for approximately 90 days as long as you maintain your membership status.
All of your recordings can be accessed by navigating to the My Libary section of your youtube TV either via the web or using the app.
