Comfortability is the bone of contention with the Apple AirPods, as they are one of the most comfortable earphones in use. But when they get lost, and you need to find your Airpods, what happens? This article will help you know more about Apple’s ‘Find My Airpods’ feature and how it is used.
The AirPods have a good seal and are perfectly conforming to each ear. Apple AirPods give you a cord-free wireless audio experience. They can last for up to 5 hours, and they are rechargeable through their included case.
When Apple released the iOS 10.3 to the public, they created a host of new features to create a different, modern look on the latest Apple products. This should explain why the company’s Find My iPhone feature was further expanded to support Airpods. Airpods users can now find it a privilege to be able to locate their Airpods if it gets misplaced.
You can locate your missing AirPods with Apple’s Find My feature. By the time you have set up the Find My feature on the required Apple product (iPhone, iPad, iPod) with your AirPods, your AirPods will be enabled.
In that light, should your AirPods get misplaced or out of their case, if it is close by, you can use the Find My feature to find them again. And if your AirPods are out of range of all of your devices, if they need to charge, or if they are in the AirPod Case, the Find My feature can still help. The feature will show the time and location where they were last connected.
One important aspect you should know is that the Find My AirPods feature is not really like Find My iPhone, especially in terms of sophistication. A worthy testament to this assertion is that AirPods must be connected to the iPhone through Bluetooth before they could work. If the AirPods are too far away, you will not get the full feature set. Apple can only help track down your Airpods as best as it can.
