The first move is to download and install the VidAngel app on your smartphone for casting or mirroring. The VidAngel app is available for Android and iOS for now. This implies that there is no VidAngel app for Windows or iOS. At the same time, you cannot download VidAngel for Roku and Apple TV. But, through mirroring, you can use VidAngel on your smart TV.

Before we start, make sure you follow the procedures above to download and install the VidAngel app on your smartphone.
- Download and install VidAngel on your smart TV (Android or iPhone).
- Connect your Smartphone and your Smart (Samsung) TV to the same Wi-Fi.
- Find the movie you want to watch on your Samsung or other Smart TVs.
- Set your movie’s or show filter and tap “Watch with Netflix.”
- Wait for the movie to verify the title.
- To watch on your smart TV or Samsung Smart TV tap on “Send to TV” or “Watch Now” to start streaming on your mobile phone.
- Find and tap on “Samsung Smart TV” from the list of available devices.
- Now, select the name of your smart TV from the list to cast or mirror your phone screen to your TV.
- The movie will start showing on your smart TV.
Now, you can choose either your phone or the smart TV remote as the tool to control the movie on your smart TVs such as the volume control, pause and play, and many more.
VidAngel not working on Samsung Smart TV
I will walk you through some reasons why the VidAngel app isn’t working on your Samsung smart TV after the mirroring and casting attempt.
You could run into a different problem trying to use the VidAngel app on your smart TV. However, when the VidAngel app wasn’t working on my Samsung Smart TV, I discovered that I was on a different Wi-F. So, when you encounter an error using the VidAngel on your smart TV, check and confirm that you are connected to the same Wi-Fi to be able to see your smart TV on the list of available devices to select from.
Another error is that; I was connected to the same network, but the buffering was showing an error message. There is nothing to panic about. Check your Wi-Fi to see there is internet access. If it didn’t work, restart the Wi-Fi and connect again. This should fix VidAngel movies not showing on your Samsung Smart TV.
Lastly, you need to download and install the newest version for your phone. If the old app on your phone has a bug, it could stop the app from casting or working.
