The standard IEC rating for iPhone X, XS, and XR are “IP67” which means that the phone variants can survive in swimming pool for half an hour if the depth of the water is not more than 1 meter which is approximately 3 feet.

For the record, no iPhone is 100% waterproof. All iPhones are water-resistant that can only survive in water for just 30 minutes.
