What is IMEI Number?
IMEI or International Mobile Equipment Identity is a unique code to identify 3GPP, Satellite, and iDEN mobile phones. The IMEI number is unique for each smartphone. It’s used mainly to help the user identify their phone and track the phone when stolen or misplaced or fall into a wrong hand.

Check Samsung IMEI USing a Gmail
Here is how to use Google Gmail account to find Samsung IMEI number online. The procedure required that Samsung user must have logged into their Gmail account on their Samsung device or use Gmail as the primary email address during the first load.
Once this is done, the procedure is easy to use to find the Samsung IMEI number online.
Note: This procedure works with all Samsung devices including Samsung S8, S8 plus, and other Samsung devices.
- Launch a browser on your computer
- Type “Google find my phone”
- You can also access Google find my phone here
- Log into the Gmail account on your Samsung device
- Wait for Google find my phone to load the list of devices in your find my phone account via the Gmail account
- Select the Samsung phone to find its IMEI number
- Click on the exclamation mark in front of the phone
- You will find your Samsung IMEI number there
This trick is not to check Samsung IMEI online alone. You can also use it to find IMEI number of any phone. The most important thing you should do for you to be able to find your phone IMEI number in the future is to login Gmail account on it even once.
