Step 4: At this stage, you will be presented with three options; Reset this PC, Go back to an earlier build, Advanced startup. Based on your mission,  Reset this PC is the place to click. Go back to an earlier build means that you want to go back to a previous version of the Operating System. The advanced startup allows you to boot off a recovery USB drive or disc.

Step 5: You know now that the place to go is Reset this PC. Next, hit  Get started.

Step 6: This step will provide you with another double option; you can choose to Keep My Files or Remove Everything. Be sure that, whatever you choose, your settings will return to default, and applications will be uninstalled. Keep My Files will keep your data files intact. Remove Everything will do as named; it will delete your files, photos, and programs.

Step 7: Here, click Just remove my files. And if you chose to Remove Everything, you can remove files and clean the drive. This part is a long process, but it is a necessary one if your wish is to sell your system. The person you are selling to will not be able to recover your erased files. But, if it is yours to keep, please stick to Just remove my files.

Step 8: Windows can notify you that you will not be able to roll back to a prior version of the operating system. Simply click Next.

Step 9: When prompted,  Click Reset, then,  Windows will restart, and it can require minutes to be done with reset.

Step 10: Finally, click Continue when you are prompt to do so.
