Note: Deactivating your account will disable your profile and remove your name and photo from most things you’ve shared on Facebook. Some information may still be visible to others, such as your name in their friends list and messages you sent.

However, note that these steps will not put your Facebook account into holds like when you deactivated it, it will delete all of your data and you will not be able to regain them in the future.

1. Open a browser either on mobile or on PC and visit Facebook account delete page at https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account
2. On the window click on delete my account. Enter your password when prompt and hits on delete to delete your Facebook account.
3. Keep in mind that you will not be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any of the content or information you have added.

1. Download and install Facebook Android app and login to your Facebook account using your Facebook username and password.
2. Click on the three horizontal line beneath chat and gravatar on your Facebook homepage

4. Navigate to the bottom page and hits account
5. A new window will open, then enter your password and click on continue and your Facebook account will be deactivated.
