Download and Install BusyBox

Download and Install Solid Explorer file manager. You can use other file managers if you know how to find your ways around but Install Solid Explorer works better and makes it easy to accomplish the workaround.
Launch the Solid Explorer File Manager and click on the Menu from the top right. Scroll down to Storage Section and click on the root to grant root permission.
Navigate to /Vendor/etc. and find the file named “audio_effects.conf and rename it to “audio_effects.conf.bak

Here are the steps to install Viper 4 Android on Android Oreo and Android Pie.
Download ViPer4Android from here and extract the files to your computer Desktop.
In there are two files in the folder namely:
- ViPER4Android_FX_v2505_A4.x-A7.x.apk
- ViPER4Android_FX_v2505_A7.x_Nougat_IO_test_fix.apk
Connect your Android phone to your computer using a working USB and avoid using your phone so that you will not mess things up.
Copy and paste the file No2 into your phone storage. Now locate the file in your phone storage and install the APK.
From the new popup that says update V4A driver. Click on Yes to grand the ViPer4Android app to upgrade the V4A driver and grant root permission to your phone.
Once the installation process begins do not touch your phone. In most cases, your phone screen will appear freeze. Just leave it and let the installation continues. The whole installation process should not take more than a minute.
After successful installation click on OK and your phone will Restart afterward.
