The new edition of the world’s largest soccer simulation game will be released worldwide this fall. The start of a new edition of FIFA is one of the most important events in the game calendar when enthusiastic soccer fans get their hands on the new game and try out all the new functions.
FIFA 21 will be released this fall on current and next-generation consoles and will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as well as on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
When does the FIFA 21 launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One?
FIFA 21 will be released on Friday, October 9th, 2020 on PS4 and Xbox One.
Due to coronavirus crisis delays, it is slightly later than the normal release date in late September for earlier versions of the game.
An older edition of the game is released on Switch. It does not contain any new game enhancements or game modes for FIFA Ultimate Team and Volta and is primarily an update to the team database. The version of FIFA 21 on the switch is anticipated to be released in October.
The PC version of the update will be the same game released on PS4 and Xbox One and will be released worldwide on Friday, October 9th.
When does the FIFA 21 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X?
Sony and Microsoft are expected to launch their new consoles in late 2020, saying they’ll be on the market during the holiday season.
It’s usually Thanksgiving and Christmas, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are expected to be released in the second half of November.
FIFA 21 is expected to be one of the launch titles for the two consoles and will appear alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X in late November.
Since many players have already bought FIFA 21 for PS4 and Xbox One, EA Sports offers a double right for all purchases. This means that you can upgrade your copy of PS4 to a copy of the PS4 PS5 of the game at no additional cost at launch.
The same package is also available for Xbox Series X to download a free copy of FIFA 21 if you already bought the game for download or a physical copy for Xbox One.
When does FIFA 21 Early Access start?
Those who pre-order the game can play it three days before anyone waiting to be physically released.
Early access to FIFA 21 starts on Tuesday, October 6th, and allows you to download the competition game to your console to play the full game before launch.
Anyone with EA Access on PS4 or Xbox One and Origin Access on the PC can use Play First Trials on Thursday, October 1st, more than a week before the game officially launches.
