- Go to phone settings
- Tap on apps or applications manager
- Select “All” from the drop menu
- Click on the app you want to disable
- Disable the app
This procedure is only peculiar to pre-installed apps else you will be prompt to uninstall the app from your device. However, in case you only want to hide the app alone without removing them, disabling the app will hide the app from home screen and from the app menu.
How to Hide App Using Apex Launcher
Apex Launcher is an app to automate wallpaper on Android and iOS, create widgets, hide apps, and set a rotating wallpaper. However, another procedure to hide apps without disabling the app from being active is to use Apex Launcher app.
- Download and install Apex Launcher from the play store
- Launch the Apex Launcher and go drawer settings
- Select apps to hide from the list
- Click on save
How to Hide App Using Nova Launcher
Users can also use Nova Launcher to hide apps on Android. Almost all Launchers can be used to hide apps on Android. However, the directions are different due launchers configuration and developers arrangement.
- Launch the Nova Launcher and go to the Launcher’s settings
- Click on app & widgets drawer
- Scroll down to drawer group and select “Hide Apps”
- Select all the apps to hide the list from Nova
The entire and all selected apps will be hidden.

- Launch your app launcher
- Go to the search option and type the name of the app to access
- Click on the app
