As part of Fortnite’s 2-year birthday celebrations is the introduction of having to access birthday cake on Fortnite. A lot of players would be surprised that this wave-based survival game is already 2 years. Most people, however, know the popular game as Battle Royale.
But so what if you just joined? No worries. All you need know is that the battle bus this time is decked with birthday finer. There are cakes on the map, and just like last year, there are a whole lot of challenges to help you get started with the birthday celebrations.
Most of the challenges are really easy, and you can complete them with your eyes closed but some, not so easy to slow your horses. You need to however know how to find and access a birthday cake in Fortnite. There are 10 birthday cakes in total, and all locations as to where to find them would be carefully dished out.
The Fortnite birthday cakes are dispersed across several locations on your map. Some of these birthday cakes have been placed major locations that will naturally interest you, some have been placed at minor points where you least expect them to be found while some have been placed not in a major or minor place on the app – just their own spot.
Well if they were so easy to be found, it would not be our favourite game. A lot of users expected the Birthday cakes to all be in significant places, but that’s not the case because unlike last year, this year’s challenge is a little bit tedious and well, challenging.
Notwithstanding, you can always find a birthday cake in Fortnite through the balloons around them. All you need to do is find the positions where they are located, and this is the guide where you will find out how to access birthday cakes in your favourite game and where to access them.

How to Find the Fortnite Birthday Cakes
Now that you know where to find each cake, you do not need to go running into the game just like that, how you access it. For instance, you do not want to just run into the Desert Racetrack without knowing where to look. So how then do you get there?
- At the Paradise Palms, just outside of it your cake is located just around the Solar array.
- When you get to the Desert Racetrack, there is a little hill that is located just in the middle of the two main buildings. Your cake is on that hill.
- There is a longhouse at the Viking Village, well just in front of it, there’s your cake!
- As stated earlier, some are easy to find. Well, the birthday cake at Junk Junction is part of this description as it is just right in the centre of the park.
- Another easy one, the Fortnite Birthday cake at Salty Springs is close to a green station wagon which is in the middle of this location.
- At the Pleasant Park, just find your way to the West of the Gazebo.
- In the South-western region of the Lonely Lodge, you will find an expedition camp – east of the camp, and you’ll find your Fortnite Birthday cake.
- North of the orb on an Island at Loot Lake is your birthday cake.
- Another one is placed easily in the Fatal Fields right in front of the Barn.
- Navigate to the West of Shifty Shafts, and it is right there.
How to Access Birthday Cakes in Fortnite
Now that you have found your birthday cakes, how do you access it? Yeah, birthday cakes are a really beautiful sight, but not now, a challenge needs to be completed as soon as possible.
When you find a birthday cake, all you need to do to complete the challenge is to start dancing. It is possible that at this stage, you might have taken some damage. Well, you can take a slice so as to recover. There are also some pieces scattered around the cake. This will help you recover.
Once you have access birthday cake on Fortnite and have completed the challenge and successfully danced in front of all 10 of the Fortnite birthday cakes, you will get a special reward.
