Upgrade EMUI 9 to EMUI 10 on Huawei Y9
If you’ve got the Huawei Y9 2019 release here is how to search for the EMUI 10 update whether it’s available for your device.
- Go to your Huawei Y9 settings
- Tap on the system which includes navigation, software update, about phone, Language & input.
- Click on the software update
- Click on search for the update
- Tap on download and install the update.
Once the EMUI 10 is available you will be asked to download the update and upgrade to replace the existing EMUI 9 or EMUI 8. You can also prompt the EMUI 10 download at night download as the new EMUI 10 OS will be downloaded at night and install the package without affecting all your files on your Huawei phone.
