- Now, use your fingers to pinch in or out on the screen to zoom the camera. It is the same way you zoom an image when viewing it from your gallery app

Another way you can do this without having to use your two fingers to zoom in on Facetime is to use the 1x icon at the bottom centre when you are starting a Facetime call.
Simply tap the 1x icon and increases it to 2x or 3x depending on what extent you want to zoom in to

iPhone 9 series would work with the facetime zooming feature as long as you are using any of these OS versions (iOS 13.5.5 beta 1, 13.6 beta 2, 13.2, and 13.5.1.) or later than these
The earlier version won’t be able to zoom in during or before the video session. So updating it is important
