How to Sign in to MySacState Account and Recover Password/Username

MySacState is a web portal for Sacramento State University students and staff to allow students to register for their classes online using their MySacState login, view holds, know more about their financial information, see lecture time-table, know the number of courses they’d be offering for the section or semester and know more about their lecturers or teachers who will be taking each courses they choose to register for.

MySacState is also known as CasperWeb. Students who are registering for their classes online must go through the Sacramento State University official portal at idp.csus.edu sign in with MySacState login username and password.

However, students can also manage their MySacState password using the manage button on idp.csus.edu login page.

MySacState history is detailed back to 1974 when the Sacramento State College was found and later changed to a State University in California. MySacState Login

To sign in to your MySacState account follow the procedures below. You will also learn how to manage your password.

1. Open your browser and visit MySacState on idp.csus.edu
2. Type your LOGIN user ID
3. Enter your password
4. Click on the login button

Within a few minutes you will be logged into your MySacState account either as a student or teacher or parent to view all your account information. Here you can manage and change your MySacState password if it’s too easy to guess or you think you account has been compromised.

Manage MySacState Password

You can easily manage and change your password on Sacramento State University portal via the SacLink password management.

1. Open your browser and go to password.csus.edu
2. Enter your SacLink username
3. Click on the login
4. Provide answer to your security questions

An instruction to reset MySacState login to your account will appear on the screen. Follow the instruction to manage and change your password if you can’t remember your login information.

Recover SacLink Username

You must verify your identity to reset your SacLink username. This is a bit different from SacLink password reset.

1. Open your internet-enabled device (such as phone or computer) and visit SacLink account verification page
2. Enter your last name
3. Enter your SacState ID or SSN last 4 digit number
4. Selet your date of birth from the drop-menu
5. Click on “verify”

Once your account is found in SacState database your SacState username will be displayed or an instrution on how to retrieve it will be displayed and sent to your email address.
